Have you dug out your Winter coats, checked out the snow blower and made sure you have enough ice melt?

We got a taste of Winter recently, and the real thing is not far behind.

If we don’t properly prepare, we’ll be sorry when it does finally get here.

Does this sound familiar? Kind of like the parable of the ten virgins? They were caught with not enough oil in their lamps when their Lord returned.

If you wait for the snowstorm to arrive to go looking for a snow blower, or even a snow shovel for that matter, you’ll find they’re all gone, or cost more than you are willing to pay.

God has adequately warned us in His word to be prepared. The day is coming! Just like Winter is sure to arrive, sooner or later, the Lord will return just as he promised! John shouted throughout the countryside, “Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand,” and if it was at hand 2000 years ago, how much more is it at hand now!!

We too must be willing to repent, draw closer to Him, love one another, as He has commanded us, and be prepared. For He surely will come as a thief in the night. Will you be prepared?

Don’t wait too late!!
