As an ambassador in the natural represents his country in a foreign land. We represent the kingdom of God in this world.
As God’s ambassador’s we have the full power and authority of God and his kingdom at our disposal.
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.” (2 Cor 5:20)
His disciples were now empowered with the Holy Spirit and ready to go forward as his ambassadors, taking the kingdom of God into all the world.
Your job in God’s family is to invite others to join the family. In fact, you are an ambassador of Christ. That means that, everywhere you go, you represent Jesus.
After the lord’s work was done he appeared to his disciples and left this commission with them, “peace be with you! as the father has sent me, i am sending you. Receive the Holy Spirit.” (John 20:21-22)
We are now his ambassadors, ambassadors of Christ, and the world is at our doorstep.
